How to read this dashboard
Each change has its own status and start date. “Announced” does not mean “already law” — many measures still need final legislation or have details under consultation. Before-and-after comparisons say whether they compare with today's rules or with rates that were previously planned.
What the impact labels mean
Location and ownership matter
Business rates relief described here is for England. Scottish property income tax needs a separate rates check. Personal tax rates on rent and interest do not apply to profits earned inside a limited company. Choosing who you are shows potentially relevant items; the detailed conditions decide whether they apply.
What's included
The main view groups announcements from the Budget speech: tax decisions, reform plans and public programmes. Technical measures from the Budget documents and earlier or unchanged rules can be switched on in “All changes”. These are editorial groupings, not a count of distinct new tax changes.
